We also set the benchmark when it comes to using recycled materials in our products, with a range of surfaces that incorporate up to 42% reclaimed quartz.
Is quartz fit for outdoor use?
Caesarstone Outdoor Collection is our only quartz colour suitable for outdoor application, made to withstand prolonged UV-ray exposure and extreme weather.
What is Quartz?
Quartz surfaces are man-made engineered stones, combining up to 93% raw quartz crystals with numerous resin binders and dashes of pigment dyes, all pressed together using innovative patented technology that produces a range of incredibly durable and superbly beautiful quartz surfaces.
Expanding on the patented 1970s Breton system, Caesarstone pioneered the market segment of quartz surfaces, worldwide, proven to be highly improved alternatives to natural stone, such as marble and granite.
Quartz mineral is as common as sand, yet tougher than steel, with a hardness of 7 compared with the 10 of a diamond (Mohs scale). Resistant to stains, scratches and cracks, quartz is impervious to heat and cold and to common household chemicals. Quartz surfaces combine form and function, allowing for the most diverse, durable, and practical applications. Our surfaces retain the cool, tactile qualities of natural stone, while offering design freedom with almost unlimited application possibilities in hygienic, durable, and beautiful surfaces.
